Nice article, lots of good information, however I’d like to point out the XT4 definitely does have IBIS , the main reason I updated from the XT3 ( also the larger battery.

I am also using this model for most of the best features for less money. if you want to use this camera benefit for you.

It helped me to think about the right one. I experienced the family, portraits and travel photography. I had canon before. Which is best camera for those categories? I’m on the budget. I like to carry light and fit in my purse or bag.

I am in the transition of becoming a more professional photographer. I take mostly photos of dance & contemporary circus, so in low light on a stage. I want to upgrade to a new camera but i’m not sure what camera performs best in low light but is still fast enough to capture fast moving people and objects. A lot of people tell me to change to Canon or Nikon, but i love the fuji system and would love to keep using it. Next to that, i am still a student so my budget isn’t that large. Maximum i would go up to a thousand, you seem to know a lot about the x series. What would you recommend in this case?

Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Manon

I’ve previously used a Pentax K-R which sadly died in frost weather. I’m quite fond of film cameras and have used a lot of pentax and olympus cameras. Which camera would you recommend for me? I’m intermediate but would like to sell my pictures someday in the future.

It’d be a step down re. image quality, but a big step up re. portability, Max. What’s most important to you? Re. Xt30 vs XT3, it’s mostly a size thing for non-pros too.

I am tossing up between the XT30 and the XT3. I currently have a compact only, so either will be a step up for me to start experimenting more with photography.

I am heading to Northern Lights next year and was considering the XT3 given the weather sealing. I went into the shop to test it but found that whilst the grip was OK, it was rather heavy.

I wanted to ask what people thought of the weight of XT3 in terms of day to day use and thoughts on weather sealing?

Hey Bella, we’re in the middle of a review of the AX-7 actually! We’ll only add it to this guide if we deem it worthy, but either way, we’ll definitely publish a full review – sign up to our newsletter to be notified when it goes live ;-)

Well you’d have to buy some lenses for the GFX too, so it could be a rather large investment! Arguable how much difference you’d see in IQ over the Hasselblad too.

I have xpro1,xh1,xt2 bodies with some lenses .also I have hasselblad h3d 39 with 80mm . Do you think there are some benefits to add a gfx-r body to my gear over the hasselblad?. You know old hasselblad body and new Fuji body .

Thanks

Hey Cathie, I’d take the leap to this camera if I were you – you’ll see a big difference in speed ;-)

I just stumbled across your reviews. I currently use an XE-2 and am looking to upgrade. I bought the XE-2 as a camera to learn digital photography on, and it may have been too esoteric for my skill set. I have taken some beautiful photos with it, but find the shutter sluggish when trying to capture images quickly. I was thinking of upgrading to the XT-30 or the XE-3, but I’m not sure how different the XE-3 is to the XE-2 and where it sits in comparison to the XT-30. The XE-3 is currently on sale, (which is attractive to me!) and I haven’t found it listed in many comparison reviews. Any guidance would be helpful!
